Switchbox Inc., a custom web application development firm based in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive to add to our highly skilled team. The right candidate will thrive in our highly supportive, team-oriented culture. The Business Development Executive will have extensive support and resources with developers that make themselves available to assist the business development staff and management that is willing to invest energy and funds to support sales efforts.
The perfect candidate for the Business Development role will have prior success in a consultative selling environment selling high end business services, custom engineered solutions, business software solutions or similar products and services to management and top executives of large corporations and/or institutions in a resistant market. He or she will be a self-starter and will be able to work without supervision. Experience with business and social selling are desirable but not required. You should have prior 12-month earnings of at least $80,000 with the desire to earn in excess of $100,000 in a salary plus commission environment.
The Business Development executive will be a relationship driven individual who values getting to help clients solve problems and does not want to be confined to simply taking orders. He or she will thrive in the low pressure, synergistic atmosphere at Switchbox. The Business Development Executive will be able to make use of their already established network in town and their excellent prospecting skills to effectively hunt for and close new business to meet and exceed revenue goals.
